Gathering announces main stage line up. - April 6, 2009  Could God have made a louder statement or greater impact on human history than sending His only Son to reconcile us to Himself? Imagine Jesus’ words from the cross “It is finished” (John 19:30) or the sound of the temple curtain being ripped in two from top to bottom (Mark 15:38). Our hope is that youth across the ABC district would be touched by God’s amazing love for them - be inspired to love back and get Loud. So we are plugging in and cranking up youth and leaders across Alberta and B.C… |

Watch for information on the upcoming training events in your area. This year's topic is teaching youth. Participants will learn how to lead effective Bible studies and devotions for youth. Because we know that youth leaders are busy, we promise that every participant will leave with pre-planned Bible studies and devotions that they can take home to use in their congregations. Anyone involved in ministry with teenagers, preteens or young adults in your congregation – confirmation teachers, Sunday School teachers, etc. - is invited to attend.
Upcoming Dates for Training are: Saturday April 18 - First Lutheran Church, Kelowna BC (4091 Lakeshore Road) 9 am to 2 pm
Led by Anne Marie Schwartz (Former DPS at Foothills Lutheran Church, Calgary)
Register as soon as possible Saturday, May 2 - Hope Lutheran Church, Port Coquitlam, BC (3151 York Street) 9 am to 2 pm
Led by Michael Gillingham (DPS at Bethel Lutheran Church, Sherwood Park)
